National Poetry Month

I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, and am posting (irregularly) the poems I’m writing daily.

Today’s is particularly good: Anthony McNeill (Jamaica):

Somebody is hanging:
a logwood tree
laden with blossoms
in a deep wood.
The body stirs left
in the wind …
