Remember this guy?

27 July 2008

Randy Pausch, Carnegie-Mellon professor, whose Last Lecture went viral?
He died on Thursday of pancreatic cancer.

Follow-up to African Reading Challenge

26 July 2008

The fate of migrants is the same – Mediterranean, Atlantic Ocean, does it matter?
Laila Lalami linked to this photo-essay taken in Italy of North African migrants.

My Africa Reading List

26 July 2008

If I take part, that is.

Not that this has been the most active blog in the recent past (I have a lot to say but no real liberty of saying it) but people do stop by every now and then.
I wish to warn [...]

Thoughts on Independence

8 July 2008

I don’t know whether this is the best title for this post.  All I really wanted to do was to quote this paragraph from this post:
“Say nothing of my religion,” Jefferson once said. “It is known to myself and my God alone. Its evidence before the world is to be sought in my life; if [...]
