Are you referring to what I actually wrote, or are you talking about Nicolette's summary of what I wrote. The two are related, yes, but they are separate things. Summary tends to reduce context. My critique was not meant to represent a full stop, end of discussion. It was intended as a springboard to more discussion and debate. It is not a question of simply "Day of Absence or not," the real issue is what is BEST for the artistic community. The point is that it should be up to the community to decide whether they want the Day of Absence in its present form or a modified version of it. This "me and my house" stuff only serves to polarize things and makes it about something other than the ideas. @Lindsay.

Who the hell else are you, of all people, supposed to use as your inspiration? A random plumber? Bunch of foolishness with that last point.
