Ringplay Production Workshop Starts!

The Ringplay Production Workshop began tonight at Garfunkel Auditorium, Madeira Street, led by Cookie Allens and Marcel Sherman, and attended by Nicolette Bethel.
First things first. Introductions were shared, and then we read Act I of The Children’s Teeth. After that, we discussed various issues raised by the play so far: questions of characterization, about choices made by the writer, choices that could be made by the director(s), and so on.
The goal of the workshop is to get the play on its feet, so that by the end of the workshop the play could be produced. The workshop will close with a staged reading of the play, which isn’t a full production (the actors will have scripts in their hands), but which is the next best thing.
