At rehearsal last night Professor Ian Borden, a certified Stage Combat Instructor, worked for a second consecutive night on Fight Choreography for the upcoming production. Ian also worked on the fights for the production of You Can Lead A Horse To Water that was staged in Michigan last year at Grand Valley State University. He is a member of their theatre faculty and was requested to join that production team by the director, Philip Burrows.
Ringplay Productions Ltd. made an application to the National Endowment for the Arts for a grant to bring in Ian to work on this production and that grant was approved. He has a total of four rehearsals to get the cast in shape before he returns to Michigan on Sunday.
