Upgrade finished

And things seem to have gone OK.
If you checked back here in the last twenty minutes or so, you would have found some weirdness. Not no more, though.

So hold your breath. I’ll be upgrading to WordPress 2.1 this week, which could be disastrous for all concerned; the point is, expect challenges when linking to this blog, and be patient.
All may go well, but we shall have to see.

A New Look

So we’ve changed our look here on the blog. We’re setting this place up to be cleaner and to provide easier navigation all round. The Event Calendar in the sidebar will let you know what events are upcoming. Keep an eye on this blog — we’re hoping for an active 2007!

Site Look (2)

I’ve fixed the problem with the coding of Philip’s pictures, and they’re back up, as is the format of the site. All’s well.

Site look

I’ve adjusted the site template for a short while, because the posting of the Horse pictures seems to have affected the two-column layout of the official Ringplay template, and I don’t have the time right now to tweak it. I’ll be back and I’ll fix the layout, but for now, we’ll use this one.

Site upgrade

It’s about time, I think, for Ringplay to invest in the latest release of WordPress, which powers this blog. I’ve tested the upgrade on a test blog, and trust that all will be all right. If not, there’ll be a backup to restore everything as it was.
